Rock 'Em! Sock 'Em! Boatright Blasts 3 Homers in San Juan Win

The rain could not dampen the enthusiasm of San Juan fans at Estadio Hiram Bithorn.
Steve Boatright knocked in all 6 runs for the San Juan Cangrejeros, helping them beat the Washington Nationals, 6-2. Josiah Brown, the winning pitcher, improved to 1-1. He pitched 5.1 innings, giving up 8 hits and 2 runs, while striking out 4 and walking 3.
With San Juan trailing 1-0 in the bottom of the first, Boatright hit a splitter from Sean Marr for a 2-run home run. It was his 3rd home run of the season and put the Cangrejeros ahead, 2-1.
"We put our best foot forward tonight," said a smiling Boatright.
With the win, San Juan goes to 9-8.
