Injury Worsens, Return Delayed for Padres Miao Thursday, April 28th , 2039 Yu-xing Miao's return to the San Diego Padres has been delayed. The 27-year-old first baseman has been in treatment for an elbow contusion and was responding well until he suffered sharp pains during a light workout. Upon examination by team doctors they reported that there had been further damage and Miao will not be back as originally diagnosed. He will now be out at least one week. A look at his current stats shows Miao with a .325 average, 11 home runs, 21 RBIs and 18 runs scored. He has played in 24 games. |
