Consecutive-Game Hit Streak Continues for Hardin Saturday, April 16th , 2039 Minnesota lost to the Detroit Tigers, 10-4, at Comerica Park, but Erik Hardin kept his consecutive-game hitting streak alive with 1 hit. The Twins first baseman has now delivered hits in 25 straight games. "Erik has a nice streak going, but the scoreboard tells the important story today," Minnesota manager Drew Rucinski told reporters after the game. "We lost, no matter how many hits anyone had." Erik Hardin flied out in the 1st, singled in the 3rd and struck out in the 6th. Posting a .431 batting average to date, Hardin has 4 home runs and 13 RBIs. |
