Washington's LaFountain Down with Injury Monday, April 4th , 2039 The Washington Nationals will be minus Jonathan LaFountain for about 6-7 weeks after the second baseman suffered a partially torn labrum while throwing a pitch in a recent game against the Los Angeles Angels. LaFountain and Nationals skipper Robert Jacobsen had been hoping the post-game examination would show less damage than originally thought. Thus far in 2039, LaFountain is hitting .429 with 2 home runs, 6 RBIs, 4 runs scored and has compiled a .538 OBP. |
