Nationals Win with Late Rally
|
The Washington Nationals put one in the win column with an opening day 3-2 triumph over the Arizona Diamondbacks in 10 innings. The crowd at Nationals Park watched Ricky Geho put on a fine performance. Chad Kearney, credited with the win in relief, is now 1-0. He allowed no runs on 1 hit in 2 innings.
The Nationals got a clutch hit from shortstop Luis Viveros. In the bottom of the tenth, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Nationals.
"It was bedlam at the end," Geho said.
