Castro Hits Two Homers in 9-2 Win for Houston
Boosted by the 3-hit performance of Marco Castro, who is tied for 8th in the AL in doubles with 9, the Houston Astros defeated the Philadelphia Phillies, 9-2. Mat Schultz, who is tied for 6th in the AL in quality starts with 3, was the winner. He's now 2-1. The loser was Kevin Piatak. The win gives the Astros a record of 12-17.

Austin Hendrick had a big 2-run home run for the Astros in the top of the second inning. With Houston leading 2-0 and a runner on 1st, he sized up a sinker from fan favorite Kevin Piatak and punished it. The result was his 1st home run of the season, which put the Astros on top, 4-0.

"When the ball finds the sweet spot," said Castro, "I can't complain."
